Age Well Association, in collaboration with Venkateshwar Hospital, Dwarka, organized an informative Health Talk on “Understanding Stroke” on Tuesday, 28th April 2026, at the hospital’s auditorium. The session aimed to raise awareness about stroke, its causes, symptoms, prevention, and timely treatment. It brought together members of the association, along with their friends and well-wishers, who attended in large numbers to gain valuable knowledge about this critical health issue. The event reflected the association’s continued efforts to promote health awareness and proactive care among senior citizens and the wider community. The session was conducted by Dr. Harsh Bhardwaj, a highly qualified medical professional with expertise in Internal Medicine and Neurology. Using a well-structured PowerPoint presentation, he explained the complexities of stroke in a simple and easy-to-understand manner. He covered important aspects such as early warning signs, risk factors, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of immediate medical attention.
His clear and engaging approach helped the audience better understand how strokes occur and how they can be prevented or managed effectively. The session also included an interactive segment where participants actively asked questions and clarified their doubts.
